Drill Results: SLV014-SLV027

SLV027 drill results
Results announced September 21, 2015

SLV027 was collared on line with both SLV004 and SLV014, approximately halfway between SLV014 and SLV004, and drilled at an azimuth of 059° and inclination of -40°.  The hole intersected favorable calcareous lithologies to a depth of 112.20 meters.  Several zones of pure massive sulfide, measuring 0.75 to 1.25 meters thick, were encountered, perhaps as manto-style replacement of limestone.  Favorable sulfides, including galena, chalcopyrite and arsenopyrite are abundant in the hole.  The degree of alteration and the presence of strong base metals help to explain the continuous intercept, and high-grade nature of the hole.

SLV026 drill results

SLV026 was collared approximately 35 meters northeast of SLV025, along the strike of SLV025 and directed towards SLV005 and SLV006.  It was drilled at an azimuth of 055° and inclination of -40°.  The hole intersected favorable calcareous lithologies to a depth of 118.95 meters.  Strong sulfidation and favorable alteration were encountered throughout the majority of the hole, declining to nearly zero percent sulfides at 114 meters.  Sulfides present include galena, chalcopyrite, arsenopyrite, and bismuth in semi-massive clusters, disseminated and associated with dolomite alteration.

SLV025 drill results

SLV025 was collared 75 meters SW of SLV005, in line with SLV004 and SLV011, and directed towards SLV005 and SLV006.  It was drilled at an azimuth of 055° and inclination of -40°.  The hole intersected the favorable calcareous lithologies to a depth of 149.30 meters.  Mineralization includes iron and base metal sulfides.  A 25-meter section of the hole was nearly void of mineralization or strong alteration, with lithology playing a key role in controlling the mineralization.

SLV024 drill results

SLV024 was collared in the transition between the gossan extension and the main gossan, drilled in the direction of 055° and inclination of -40.  The hole was designed to intersect the heart of the gold soil anomaly discovered in May, 2015.  The hole intersected strong sulfide mineralization from 0 to 67 meters dominated by pyrite, marcasite, chalcopyrite and sphalerite.  The gold intercept is spatially related to the intercept in SLV020.  Upgraded geological and structural understanding in the target area suggests that there is a possible target below this drilling.

SLV020 drill results

SLV020 was collared in the gossan extension, drilled in the direction of 055° and inclination of -40°.  The hole was designed to drill towards the gold soil anomaly discovered in May 2015.  The hole intercepted 38 meters of gossan and sulfides varying from 0.5% to 8%, and dominated by marcasite, with lesser pyrite and chalcopyrite.  Upgraded geological and structural understanding in the target area suggests that there is a possible target below this drilling.

SLV019 drill results

SLV019 was collared in the northern portion of the main gossan zone, drilled in the direction of 216 degrees, inclination -50 degrees.  The hole intersected patchy zones of 5-10% sulfides, dominated by pyrite and nearly equal sphalerite, with lesser amounts of galena and chalcopyrite.  The lithology is dominated by pebble conglomerate and lesser amounts of calcareous sandstone and siltstone.  The hole appears to have mostly drilled out of higher grade alteration and mineralization and was not expected to have any large intercepts of gold.

SLV018 drill results
Results announced August 17, 2015

SLV018 was collared in the northwest portion of the main gossan zone, drilled in the direction of 100 degrees, inclination -55 degrees.  The hole intercepted 135.50 meters of sulfides varying from 4% to 50% of the core. Sulfides are dominated by pyrite with lesser amounts of galena, sphalerite and chalcopyrite.  Lithology is dominated by calcareous pebble conglomerate, with lesser amounts of sandstone and siltstone.  Dissolution features and dolomitization were observed throughout the sulfide-bearing intercept, with both being recognized as favorable indications for the presence of gold in other drill holes.

SLV016 was collared in the northern portion of the main gossan zone, drilled in the direction of 097 degrees at an inclination of -55 degrees for 142.40 meters. The hole intercepted 75 meters of sulfide mineralization, averaging 5-10% of the rock volume.  Mineralization is dominated by pyrite, with lesser amounts of sphalerite, chalcopyrite, and galena. Pebble conglomerate, recognized as the favorable host rock type for gold, silver, and base metals mineralization, is the dominant rock type within the strongly altered and mineralized zone.  Silicification, dolomitization, and formation of cavities are the typical alteration styles within the sulfide-bearing zone.

SLV016 drill results

SLV016 was collared in the northern portion of the main gossan zone, drilled in the direction of 097 degrees at an inclination of -55 degrees for 142.40 meters.
